The new ITSM Plugin v 3.0 has been released as of 10/5/2017! A number of behind the scenes improvements have been made in this new version but the biggest improvements are the ability to view and request Azure/XaaS Catalog Items and the support of SNOW Jakarta. For full release notes see below. This new Plugin can be downloaded for free from the VMware Marketplace. Also available is an upgrade package to easily go from v 2.0 to v 3.0.

This integration enables ServiceNow to be the portal for deploying services that are entitled to the user in vRealize Automation. Provisioned resources are made available in the ServiceNow CMDB and Self Service portal for viewing and day-2 lifecycle management.
Leverage ServiceNow approval policies with the requested vRealize Automation Catalog Items, independently or in parallel with vRealize Automation approvals. Once a request is approved, vRealize Automation will provision the resources requested using all applicable policies.
